Taylor Swift’s engagement dress sells out

Los Angeles (U.S.), (EFE).— The Ralph Lauren dress that Taylor Swift wore in her engagement photos with her partner, football player Travis Kelce, sold out in less than 24 hours on the website of the American fashion brand.

The cream-and-black silk dress worn by the American star was listed on Ralph Lauren’s site for just under $320, and following yesterday’s announcement of her engagement, all sizes quickly sold out.

Some fashion portals and specialized magazines have opted to promote alternatives from other brands, offering similar styles to the singer’s look at lower prices.

Meanwhile, the brown Louis Vuitton sandals she wore are still available on the brand’s official website for $930.

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on Tuesday through a post on their official Instagram accounts, sharing a carousel of photos showing the football player kneeling before the Love Story singer and a close-up of the engagement ring.

The ring Kelce gave her to seal their engagement features an antique diamond, and the football player took part in its design, crafted by a small artisanal jewelry shop based in New York.

The couple began dating in 2023, after he attended one of her concerts and was left “hypnotized” and “captivated” by the singer, as the couple revealed on August 13 in the podcast New Heights, which Kelce co-hosts with his brother Jason.
