STHS Looking To Fill More Than 200 Positions During Upcoming ‘Aim For The Star’ Career Fair

Taking place at the McAllen Convention Center for the third consecutive year, the daylong event will connect job seekers with STHS recruiters and department leaders for in-person interviews and on-the-spot provisional job offers
It takes a strong team of clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver the highest level of quality, compassionate care across South Texas Health System’s nationally recognized healthcare facilities, with strong communication and collaboration essential to providing patient-centered care, enhancing patient satisfaction, improving patient outcomes, increasing efficiency and preventing errors.
From the clinical employees who provide direct care to patients to the support staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our facilities run smoothly, more than 3,500 professionals work diligently across 12 facilities to help South Texas Health System maintain its status as the Rio Grande Valley’s largest integrated network of care.
For exceptional professionals looking to take their careers to new heights with the region’s healthcare leader, South Texas Health System will host its third annual “Aim for the Star” Career Fair on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the ballroom of the McAllen Convention Center.
To support the Valley’s active military members and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, STHS will offer early admission to the hiring event to those who have proudly served our nation from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.
During the systemwide hiring event, attendees will have the chance to learn more about the 250-plus full-time and part-time positions available with South Texas Health System, with the opportunity to complete their online application on site.
Additionally, participants can learn about South Texas Health System’s competitive salaries, stellar benefits package and sign-on bonuses available for qualified applicants. Onsite interviews with STHS recruiters and department leaders from the system’s four acute care facilities, seven freestanding emergency departments and behavioral health facility. Attendees who receive provisional job offers will receive a special token from STHS.
