Los Angeles (USA) (EFE) – American star Demi Moore and Colman Domingo will star in “Stranger Arrivals,” an epic romance inspired by the first reported case of alien abduction, Variety reported.

The film is based on the true story of Betty and Barney Hill, an interracial couple who claimed to have been abducted by aliens in rural New Hampshire in 1961, while returning from their honeymoon in Niagara Falls.

Known as “Hill’s Abduction,” the case catapulted to fame and was adapted into a best-selling 1966 book, “Interrupted Journey,” and a 1975 NBC film, “The UFO Incident.”

The project, which has yet to receive a release date, will be produced by See-Saw Films and directed by Oscar-winner Roger Ross Williams (‘Music by Prudence’).

“Having Demi and Colman reunite for the first time to bring Jane Anderson’s beautiful script, which illuminates the human condition, to life will be magical,” Williams said, according to the American trade magazine.

This will be the first film Moore and Colman will work on together.
