Killers Golf UTRGV Student-Athlete of the Week: Manou Meulebeek

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that freshman Manou Meulebeek, of the swimming & diving team, is the Killers Golf UTRGV Student-Athlete of the Week.

At UTRGV’s first NCAA DI meet in program history on Saturday, Meulebeek qualified for the NCAA Zone “D” Diving competition in the 1 and 3 meter springboard after winning both events with scores of 299.33 and 286.43, respectively.

There are five zone meets across the country where divers will compete to qualify for the NCAA Championships. For 2025, the NCAA zone qualification score for women’s diving is set at 265 for the 1-meter springboard and 280 for the 3-meter springboard.

The Vaqueros will travel to Houston for their next meet when they compete against St. Thomas and Southwestern on Oct. 25 and St. Thomas and McMurray on Oct. 26.
