World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

Hidalgo County District Attorney Terry Palacios sponsored a Proclamation declaring July 30, 2024 as World Day Against Trafficking in Persons to raise awareness of the plight of human trafficking victims, and promote and protect their rights.

The Hidalgo County Criminal District Attorney’s Office is working with national, state, regional, and local stakeholders to fight against human trafficking and provide assistance to victims of human trafficking

The Rio Grande Valley Anti Human Trafficking Taskforce calls on every single person in our community to report human trafficking and join their prevention efforts.
