UTRGV Athletics to Host Golf Classic Fundraiser

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Friday plans to host the second annual UTRGV Golf Classic presented by D. Wilson Construction, benefiting the men’s and women’s golf programs, on Nov. 4 at 9 a.m. at Champion Lakes Golf Course, the home of the Vaqueros Golf Center.

The UTRGV Golf Classic is a 4-person scramble with a cost of $700 per team. Participants can also purchase a Vaqueros Bundle which includes both team registration and hole sponsorship for $1,000.

Sponsorship opportunities also available include the scoreboard for $1,000 and individual holes for $500 each.

All proceeds from the registration fee and the sponsorships directly benefit the UTRGV men’s and women’s golf programs.
