Palm Valley Animal Society is facing a critical situation with 93 dogs that urgently require assistance after being rescued from a hoarding case. These precious lives are counting on the kindness and generosity of our community to provide them with the care they desperately need.

Rescue Groups Needed: We are calling upon reputable 501(c)3 rescue organizations to lend their expertise, resources, and compassion to support these 93 dogs. Your involvement can make a significant difference in their lives. Please reach out to us at rescue@pvastx.org to learn more about how you can help.

Calling All Groomers: These dogs have endured tough circumstances, and they would greatly benefit from grooming to help them feel comfortable and cared for. Your skills and attention can uplift their spirits and contribute to their overall well-being.

Fosters Needed Immediately: The resilience of these dogs is remarkable, but they urgently require the warmth and safety of temporary homes to aid in their recovery. Fostering provides them with a nurturing environment where they can heal and flourish until they find their forever families.

Spread the Word: Even if you are unable to foster, rescue, or groom, you can still play a vital role by spreading the word about this plea and donating to support our efforts. Every share and contribution increase our ability to save lives.

Note for Potential Adopters: At this time, due to pending litigation, fosters and groomers are the primary need. However, for those interested in adoption, please stay informed as the situation develops.

This is an ongoing investigation, and the animals have been relocated to Palm Valley Animal Society, the City of Mission, Hidalgo County, and various other cities and shelters. McAllen police have confirmed the apprehension of two individuals connected to the case.

Your support is urgently needed to ensure the well-being of these 93 dogs. Together, we can make a profound difference in their lives and provide them with the second chance they deserve.
