Summer Internships

Welcome aboard! A group of enthusiastic college students and graduates from UTRGV – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and St. Mary’s University are starting their summer internships with various city departments. This program marks the beginning of a 12-week journey where these interns will gain valuable hands-on experience and insights into their chosen career fields.

The interns will be working closely with departments that align with their intended career paths, allowing them to familiarize themselves with best practices and industry-specific skills. By participating in real-world projects and tasks, they will enhance their understanding of municipal operations and develop practical skills that will be beneficial in their future careers.
