“Royal Tea at the Heritage” Fundraising Event

McALLEN, TX – The McAllen Heritage Center (MHC) is delighted to announce its signature fundraising event, the 2025 Royal Tea at the Heritage, a charming and elegant afternoon in celebration of McAllen’s history and traditions. The event will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the museum.

Guests of this year’s Royal Tea will enjoy an afternoon of champagne, curated tea selections, delightful tea fare, live music, and elegant décor, all within the museum’s beautifully preserved historic setting. The event will also include a silent auction featuring high-quality, unique items to support the fundraising efforts.

Individual tickets are available for $75 per person on a limited basis, and sponsorship opportunities are also offered to support the event and the museum’s mission.

MHC Executive Director Elva M. Cerda expressed her enthusiasm about the second annual tea, which supports the museum’s expansion plans. “I am so honored to have a phenomenal committee comprised of museum board members and supporters that are working hard to make this event extra special for our guests this year,” Cerda said. “Funds raised will directly support our exciting new project – The Annex, the newest expansion of the McAllen Heritage Center.”

The McAllen Heritage Center is dedicated to preserving and honoring the rich cultural history of McAllen and invites the community to participate in this meaningful and memorable experience.
