The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a U.S. Department of Agriculture nutrition initiative administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), designed to ensure children in low-income areas continue to receive nutritious meals even when school is not in session.
“PSJA ISD students need year-round support, and our Child Nutrition staff is ready to assist,” said PSJA Child Nutrition Administrator Pedro Contreras. “With nearly 2 million food-insecure children in Texas, these nutritious meals are essential for nourishing our students during the summer break.”
