PSJA ISD Stadium Voted Readers’ Choice Favorite, Seating 12,000 Fans and Showcasing Community Pride

PHARR – Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District (PSJA ISD) is proud to announce that its school sports stadium has been voted Favorite School Sports Stadium in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards, presented by The Monitor.

The stadium, which seats more than 12,000 fans and features one of the largest scoreboards in the region, is home to the district’s four varsity high school football teams. Beyond athletics, it has become a true centerpiece of pride — a place where traditions are celebrated, achievements are honored, and the community comes together.

“We are honored to receive this award and grateful to our community for their continued support,” said PSJA Superintendent Dr. Alejandro Elias. “Our stadium is more than just a venue — it’s where champions are made, memories are shared, and our PSJA Family unites. This recognition comes at a perfect time as we prepare to unveil the newly remodeled press box with premium suites, elevating the game-day experience for our fans.”
