Picnic at the Park: Celebrating Trans Individuals and Allies

Picnic at the Park: Celebrating Trans Individuals and Allies

Join us for a heartwarming gathering at Firemen’s Park (201 N. 1st Street, McAllen) on April 4th from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. as we celebrate the vibrant Trans community and its allies.

“Picnic at the Park” is more than just a casual get-together—it’s a safe and inclusive space where individuals can connect, share experiences, and learn about the valuable resources offered by the Valley AIDS Council (VAC) to the Trans community.

Spread your picnic blankets, set up your lawn chairs, or bring your cushions—whatever makes you comfortable as we bask in the camaraderie of community support. Lawn games, coloring activities, bubbles, and music will add to the festive atmosphere, ensuring a delightful evening for all.

Food and drinks will be provided, so all you need to bring is your presence and an open heart. Let’s come together to celebrate diversity, acceptance, and unity.

This event is proudly organized by the Valley AIDS Council and Casa Orgullo, and it’s completely free to attend. Whether you identify as Trans or an ally, your presence is welcomed and valued. Let’s make this a memorable evening filled with laughter, connection, and mutual understanding. See you at the park!
