October 2024 Proclaimed as Fire Prevention Month

The Edinburg City Council has officially proclaimed October 2024 as Fire Prevention Month! This important initiative aims to raise awareness about fire safety and prevention throughout our community.

During this month, we encourage everyone to take the time to educate themselves on fire hazards, practice essential safety measures, and ensure that our homes, schools, and workplaces are prepared in the event of an emergency.

Fire Prevention Month also gives us the opportunity to show appreciation for our brave firefighters, who work tirelessly to protect our families, homes, and businesses. Their dedication and expertise help keep us safe year-round.
