Mission CISD Steers the Competition at 2025 School Bus Road-EO

Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) proudly hosted the 2025 South Texas Association of Pupil Transportation School Bus Road-EO & Educational Awareness Competition, bringing together more than 10 districts from Region 1 and Region 5 for a showcase of skill, safety, and precision in student transportation.

The competition featured three categories—transit school buses, conventional school buses, and special needs school buses—where drivers demonstrated their expertise in maneuvering, safety protocols, and efficiency. Each performance was meticulously evaluated by expert judges and law enforcement officials, ensuring the highest standards in student transportation.

Beyond the competition, the event served as an opportunity to reinforce best practices, sharpen drivers’ skills, and support professional development, all with student safety at the forefront.
