McAllen ISD fill the bus event for flood victims

McAllen ISD is holding a “fill the bus” event for the flood victims of Kerr County and the Texas Hill Country.

Community members are invited to bring items for donation starting on Monday, July 14 and going through Wednesday, July 16.  8 am – 5 pm both days at McAllen ISD Administration Building (2000 N. 23rd St.).

Donations can include: dry goods, toiletries, emergency & cleaning supplies, new blankets, gift cards, new undergarments (all sizes), basic clothing.

In addition, children are invited to express their encouragement by writing letters and creating drawings for Central Texas families. Writing materials will be available on-site on Monday-Wednesday, July 14-16 and will be included in the bus.
