Margarita Madness: Supporting Children’s Advocacy Centers

Get ready to shake things up at the annual “Margarita Madness” fundraiser hosted by the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Cameron and Willacy Counties (CACCWC). Taking place on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the picturesque Beach Park at Isla Blanca, this event promises an evening of celebration for a meaningful cause.

Join the festivities from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at 33261 State Park Rd 100, South Padre Island, as we mark 25 years of dedicated service to victims in Cameron and Willacy Counties. As the first responders for children entering the justice system due to suspected abuse or witnessing violent crimes, CACCWC, also known as Monica’s and Maggie’s House, has been a beacon of hope and support for the community.

The evening’s program includes a light dinner, a thrilling silent auction, exciting raffles, and live music, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. By attending and participating in the event, you’re directly contributing to our mission of serving and advocating for child victims of abuse through education, prevention, intervention, and recovery.

Your support is instrumental in enabling us to provide essential services such as counseling and support to children and families in need, all at no cost to them. With the help of generous sponsors, donors, and community members like you, we’ve been able to uphold our commitment to the community for the past 25 years.

This year, 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit the growth and enhancement of all three CACCWC sites: Monica’s and Maggie’s House, along with the Raymondville Satellite Office. Your contributions will enable us to expand our efforts and continue providing the best possible services to every child who walks through our doors.

– Choose your margarita package: Top Shelf Margarita ($5,000), Classic Margarita ($2,500), Strawberry Margarita ($1,000), Mango Margarita ($500), or Blue “We can’t do it without you” Margarita ($250). Individual tickets are also available for $50.
