MADD Awards for Mission Police Department

We are proud to announce that members of our Mission Police Department have been recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) South Texas for their outstanding efforts in DWI enforcement. Several officers were honored for their dedication to keeping our community safe from impaired driving.

The awards presented were as follows:

• Chief of Police Cesar Torres: Received the Outstanding Service Award for his exceptional leadership and commitment to DWI enforcement.
• Corporal Luis Gutierrez: Also received the Outstanding Service Award for his tireless efforts and dedication to combating drunk driving.
• Corporal Victor Arispe: Was honored with the Distinguished Enforcement Award for his exemplary work in the field.
• Officer Alexander Guerrero: Received the Outstanding Rookie Award for his impressive contributions as a new member of the force.

These awards are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our officers in ensuring the safety of our roads and protecting our community from the dangers of impaired driving. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and their unwavering dedication to their duty.
