Luna Awards to Honor Women in A/E/C with Keynote by Rep. Erin Elizabeth Gámez

HARLINGEN, Texas — The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association, in partnership with the Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, will host the 2025 Luna Awards Luncheon – Rio Grande Valley Region on Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Harlingen Convention Center, 701 Harlingen Heights Drive.
The event honors the outstanding contributions of women, women-owned businesses and advocates in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Awards will be presented in multiple categories, including A/E/C Firm of the Year, Service Firm of the Year, Rising Star, A/E/C Woman of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
State Rep. Erin Elizabeth Gámez will deliver the keynote address. Harlingen Mayor Norma Sepulveda will provide opening remarks.
“This event shines a well-deserved spotlight on the women whose leadership, innovation and resilience are helping shape the built environment across South Texas,” said Cynthia Cabaza, president of the Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “We are proud to partner with the RHCA to recognize and celebrate these trailblazers in the A/E/C industries.”
Individual tickets, vendor booth opportunities and sponsorships are available. Reserved tables and sponsor packages begin at $1,000.
The Luna Awards are a regional extension of RHCA’s statewide efforts to recognize leadership and excellence in A/E/C fields. Founded to support and empower Hispanic contractors, the RHCA provides business development programs, project procurement assistance, safety education and industry advocacy.
