La Plaza Kicks Off Back-To-School Season with Bash and Fashion Show

MCALLEN, TX – La Plaza, the ultimate back-to-school shopping destination, invites families to kick off the new school year in style at its Back-To-School Bash on Saturday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In partnership with Radio United, the event will feature free backpacks filled with school supplies for school-aged children, while supplies last. Families can enjoy a fun-filled day of games, activities, giveaways, and a fashion show spotlighting the latest back-to-school trends from La Plaza retailers, taking place at 12:30 p.m. in the Grand Court.

Shoppers can also take advantage of Texas’ Tax-Free Weekend from August 8–10, with savings on qualifying clothing, footwear, backpacks, and school supplies.
