Give a Bark 5K: Run for a Cause and Help Furry Friends Find a Home

Would you like to make a difference in the lives of stray dogs and cats in our community? Palm Valley Animal Society (PVAS) is inviting compassionate animal lovers, runners, walkers, and families to join their mission of giving every pet the chance to find their furever home.

This Saturday, April 12, PVAS is hosting the Give a Bark 5K, a community-driven event that combines fitness, fun, and fundraising for a heartwarming cause. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely stroll, there’s a place for everyone—there’s even a shorter 1K route for those who want to take it easy.

By signing up and participating, you’ll be directly supporting PVAS’s ongoing efforts to care for and rehome hundreds of animals in need. Every step you take helps provide food, shelter, medical care, and adoption support for the stray and abandoned pets who are waiting for someone like you to help them find a second chance.
