Edinburg Parks & Rec Wins Platinum Member City Award at TAAF Conference
We are thrilled to announce that Edinburg Parks & Recreation has been awarded the prestigious Platinum Member City Award at the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) Annual Conference held in Garland, TX. This marks their fourth consecutive win, a testament to the city’s outstanding commitment to community involvement, health, and recreational excellence.
A Victory for Community Involvement
This award is a reflection of the incredible participation and support from our community. With the highest number of participants and teams in the state, Edinburg continues to set the standard for recreational activities and sports engagement. Whether it’s soccer, basketball, swimming, or any of the many programs we offer, the city consistently turns out in full force to enjoy and benefit from these activities.
Building a Stronger, Healthier Edinburg
At the heart of this recognition is the dedication of the Edinburg Parks & Recreation Department, whose programs not only promote physical fitness but also foster a sense of togetherness. They believe in the power of recreation to strengthen community bonds and improve the quality of life for the residents. From youth leagues to adult sports, the wide range of offerings ensures that there is something for everyone in Edinburg.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly proud of their achievement, but we know that the work is far from over. As we celebrate the fourth win, they remain committed to continuing their efforts to provide top-notch facilities, programs, and opportunities for everyone in the community. Together, they will keep making Edinburg a place where active, engaged living is a priority.
They’d like to thank the TAAF for this honor and, most importantly, the residents of Edinburg for their participation and support. This award belongs to all of you!
