Discover Dinosaurs This Winter at IMAS Camp
The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) invites 3rd-5th graders to an exciting winter adventure at Operation Imagination: Winter Camp – Dinosaurs Among Us. This week-long program is packed with hands-on activities that explore the fascinating connection between dinosaurs and modern birds.
Campers will immerse themselves in the Dinosaurs Among Us exhibit and investigate the adaptations that helped these ancient creatures evolve into today’s feathery friends. Highlights include a thrilling Dino Dig, solving the mystery of the missing Dino egg, and fun, interactive lessons about reptile and bird biology.
“We’re thrilled to bring back our Winter Camp with such an exciting theme,” said Roni Cortez, IMAS Director of Education. “Dinosaurs continue to captivate young minds, and this camp is a unique opportunity for children to learn, explore, and spark their curiosity about science and history in a fun, interactive environment.”
In addition to themed activities, campers will enjoy museum exhibit exploration, outdoor recess, and creative science and art projects.
