DHR Health to Host “National Donor Day” Event to Raise Awareness on Organ Donation

Edinburg, TX — DHR Health is set to host a special event in recognition of National Donor Day to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ donation. The event aims to educate the community on the importance of being a registered organ donor and will feature testimonials from transplant recipients, as well as insights from medical professionals dedicated to organ transplantation.

DHR Health will host the National Donor Day Awareness Event at 10:00 a.m. on February 14, 2025, at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, 118 Paseo Del Prado, Edinburg, Texas 78539.

The event will feature DHR Health Transplant Institute Physicians and Staff Members, Texas Organ Sharing Alliance Representatives, and Organ Donor Recipients.

National Donor Day, observed annually on February 14th, serves as a platform to highlight the critical need for organ donation and encourage individuals to become registered donors.
