DHR Health to Host Free Weight Loss Educational Seminar in Brownsville

Brownsville, TX- The DHR Health Bariatric & Metabolic Institute is inviting community members to attend a free weight loss educational seminar. The seminar take place at the DHR Health Brownsville Bariatric & Metabolic Institute, located at 4770 North Expressway 77, Suite 303 and will be held in English on Saturday, July 26 at 9:00 a.m. and in Spanish on Wednesday, July 30 at 6:00 p.m.

This seminar is designed to inform and guide community members on how to start their wellness journey to becoming their healthiest self. Dr. Angela Lomas, DHR Health bariatric surgeon, will provide expert insight and cover the causes of obesity, bariatric surgery as a treatment option, and how medically guided weight loss can provide benefits in preventing or managing conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea. This seminar is an opportunity for community members to learn more about what weight loss surgery entails and to ask an expert questions.
