City of Mission Invites Community to the Mayor’s Annual Evening of Prayer

Observing National Day of Prayer – Honoring First Responders and Law Enforcement
MISSION, TX — The City of Mission cordially invites local media and the public to join us for the Mayor’s Annual Evening of Prayer, a heartfelt community gathering in observance of the National Day of Prayer.
This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mission Event Center, located at 200 N. Shary Road, Mission, TX.
This special evening hosted by The Greater Chamber Mission Chamber of Commerce will unite residents, local leaders, and faith-based organizations in collective prayer, reflection, and support for our community. This year’s theme will focus on honoring our first responders and law enforcement officers—the brave men and women who serve and protect us every day.
“We invite everyone in our community to join us for this meaningful tradition,” said Mayor Norie Gonzalez Garza. “The Evening of Prayer is a powerful opportunity to stand together in unity, compassion, and gratitude—especially for those who put their lives on the line for our safety.”
All members of the public are welcome to attend.
