Celebrating National Autism Acceptance Month

April is National Autism Acceptance Month &, each year, McAllen ISD holds an Autism Awareness Walk in support of autism awareness & acceptance.

This year’s event will be Friday, April 11, 6-7 pm at DQ Fan Field at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium (on Bicentennial Blvd. & Tamarack Ave.).

There is no need to register, as the event is open to anyone who would like to participate in the walkaround the track.

McAllen ISD serves approximately 650 students with autism.
