Brownsville Summer Food Program
Brownsville ISD’s Summer Food Program is making a significant impact by serving free meals to children 18 years of age and younger. This program ensures that kids in our community have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months, when school is out and regular meal programs are not available.
By providing free meals, Brownsville ISD is addressing a critical need for many families, helping to alleviate food insecurity and support children’s health and well-being. The program is open to all children, regardless of their family’s income, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to receive a healthy meal.
The Summer Food Program is available at multiple locations throughout the district, making it convenient for families to access these vital resources. This initiative not only helps to keep children nourished but also allows them to stay active and engaged during the summer, ready to return to school in the fall healthy and ready to learn.
Brownsville ISD is committed to the well-being of our community’s children, and the Summer Food Program is a testament to that dedication. By offering free meals, the district is helping to create a brighter, healthier future for all children in the area.
