Boys & Girls Club of Mission Receives Kohl’s Cares Grant

Twenty excited teens from the Boys & Girls Club of Mission Athletics recently embarked on a shopping spree, courtesy of the Kohl’s Cares Shopping Grant program. Each young participant received a $100 gift card to help them prepare for the upcoming school year, making this a day to remember!

The Kohl’s Cares Shopping Grant program aims to support local communities and empower youth by providing resources for essential needs. Being selected for this grant is a significant achievement, and we are incredibly proud of our Boys & Girls Club of Mission for earning this opportunity.

The event was not just about shopping; it was a chance for the teens to feel special and excited about the new school year. With smiles on their faces and shopping bags in hand, they picked out new clothes, school supplies, and other essentials. The experience was a boost of confidence for these young individuals, reminding them that they are valued and supported by their community.
