Meet Santa at La Plaza for the Holidays

MCALLEN, TEXAS – La Plaza is pleased to announce that families can meet Santa, the ultimate holiday tradition, at the Simon Photo Experience this year. Santa arrives on Friday, November 14 and will be available until Christmas Eve.

The Santa Photo Experience will be opening beginning Saturday, November 15 at 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. through Wednesday, December 24, however, hours of operation vary throughout the season. Santa’s Arrival

On Friday, November 14, La Plaza will host Santa’s Arrival to welcome Old Saint Nick as he settles into McAllen for the holidays! The event will kick off on the Green at 6 p.m. with a parade featuring the Salvation Army Band and models from Missy’s Modeling Studio. Join the jolly parade and twirl through the Yard House patio where guests can pick up a merry swag bag and follow the cheer straight to Santa’s Workshop. Families are invited to enjoy hot chocolate and festive beverages courtesy of Starbucks, treats, a “Letters to Santa” station and so much more.

Additionally, La Plaza shoppers may also meet Santa this season at various events including:

• Pet Photos – Sunday, November 23, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.: Don’t miss this fun opportunity to bring your pets to pose with Santa. Please note that photos will be taken and available for purchase at this event. Reservations are not required for this event. Please enter through H&M entrance for this after-hours event.
• Cookies with Santa – Saturday, November 29, 10 – 11 a.m.at Yard House Join us for this jolly holiday tradition with Santa Claus!
