As part of their ongoing effort to raise awareness about B.R.A. (Breast Reconstruction Awareness) Day, a worldwide health initiative, DHR Health is delighted to announce its Annual Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day Fashion Show and Gala. Every year, healthcare systems around the world come together to observe B.R.A. Day, which was established to highlight the various breast reconstruction options available to women who have bravely undergone breast cancer surgery.

The evening will feature insightful presentations from DHR Health’s plastic and reconstructive physicians: Dr. Mauricio De La Garza, Dr. Ali Kilic, Dr. Paul Berry and general surgeons, Dr. Lisa Chapa and Dr. Cera Kroenke. These physicians will discuss the multi-step reconstructive surgeries that typically follow the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

At DHR Health, comprehensive medical services are available to patients at every step of the process—from initial screening and diagnosis to treatment and reconstruction. State-of-the-art technology and procedures are utilized for these vital medical services.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Renaissance Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization of DHR Health dedicated to helping local underserved cancer patients throughout the Rio Grande Valley with financial and transportation assistance, as well as providing free wigs.
