City of Mission Invites Community to Fire Safety Fest
MISSION, TEXAS – The City of Mission Fire Department is excited to host its annual Fire Safety Fest on Monday, September 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leo Pena Placita Park at 803 N. Conway Ave.
This free, family-friendly event promises an evening full of fun, education, and community spirit!
Families will have the opportunity to meet our Mission firefighters, explore fire trucks and equipment, and interact with Sparky the Fire Dog Mascot while learning valuable lessons about fire safety.
From hands-on demonstrations to interactive activities, the Fire Safety Fest is designed to engage children and adults alike while reinforcing life-saving safety practices!
“This event is one of our favorite traditions because it brings families together in a fun way while teaching critical fire safety tips that can help save lives,” said Frank Cavazos, Fire Marshall, “We invite the entire community to come out, meet our firefighters, and take part in this important and exciting evening.”
The Fire Safety Fest is free and open to the public!
Attendees are encouraged to bring the whole family to enjoy games, activities, and giveaways—all while strengthening their knowledge of fire prevention and emergency preparedness!
