Legacy in Bloom: Grapefruit Tree Dedication & Texas Citrus Fiesta Building Reopening
The City of Mission and Texas Citrus Fiesta cordially invite our media partners and the community to attend the Legacy in Bloom Grapefruit Tree Dedication and Reopening Ceremony of the Texas Citrus Fiesta Building!
This special event will celebrate Mission’s rich history while symbolizing growth, community pride, and tradition!
The event is scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at our Texas Citrus Fiesta Building, 220 E. 9th Street, Mission, TX.
The dedication ceremony will feature the symbolic planting of a grapefruit tree and the unveiling of updates to the historic Texas Citrus Fiesta building. This project highlights Mission’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage while continuing to grow for future generations!
City leaders, TCF representatives, and community members will be present.
