McAllen Heritage Center (MHC) to host “Royal Tea at the Heritage” fundraising event

The McAllen Heritage Center is proud to celebrate the unique history of McAllen in the lovely historic museum building with a very special tea in honor of this highly valued tradition and in keeping with our mission to preserve and honor history.
The event will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 beginning at 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the museum located in downtown McAllen 301 S. Main Street. Individual tickets are available on a limited basis for $75.00 per person along with sponsorships.
During this extraordinary afternoon, guests will experience champagne, delicious tea fare, a variety of teas, music and elegant decor in a perfect and historical setting. A short presentation by Irma Murray, Event Chair, about the history of the Royal Tea will be included.
Guests are also invited to enjoy our silent auction featuring high quality, lovely and unique items which will also enhance the fundraising goals of the Royal Tea.
Elva M. Cerda, Executive Director of the McAllen Heritage Center is excited to bring this unique event in its second year to raise needed funds towards the museum’s newest expansion project,” The Annex”. She states, “I am so honored to have a phenomenal committee comprised of museum board members and supporters that are working hard to make this event extra special for our guests this year.”
