Controversial Kanye West Attends Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Trial in New York

New York, (EFE) – Controversial rapper Kanye West attended the ongoing trial for sex trafficking, racketeering, and other charges against fellow rapper Sean Combs, known as Diddy, in New York this Friday. The trial has been underway for nearly a month.
West, who now goes by the name Ye, appeared at the Manhattan federal courthouse dressed in white and wearing sunglasses. He waited in line at the security checkpoint and then took a seat among the general public, accompanied by his bodyguards, according to TMZ.
The former husband of TV star Kim Kardashian is one of the few celebrities who have publicly supported Combs since the scandal erupted last year, following abuse allegations from ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which were soon followed by accusations from other women.
According to the New York Post, Ye gave a brief “yes” when asked if he was attending Diddy’s trial and declined to answer whether he would be testifying. He remained in the courtroom for less than an hour and left in the same vehicle he arrived in.
In February, Ye posted the message “Free Puff” (another nickname for Diddy) on his social media, and in March, he released a song featuring part of a phone conversation with Combs from the Brooklyn jail where he has been held since September.
The “Nggas in Paris”* rapper is well-known for his erratic behavior and controversial antisemitic statements, the latest being the release of the song “Heil Hitler,” in which he expresses admiration for Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and uses a swastika as the cover image.
Combs also faces charges of extortion and transporting individuals for prostitution. His high-profile trial has drawn widespread attention due to allegations involving sex parties with male sex workers, in which he allegedly forced his ex-partner to participate.
