Sons of U.S. President Announce Creation of New Phone Service, Trump Mobile

Washington, (EFE) – The business group led by the sons of U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday the creation of a new phone service called Trump Mobile, which will eventually include its own device — a move that strengthens the expansion of the Republican family’s business interests into the telecommunications sector.

Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. introduced Trump Mobile as “a new and transformational cellular service designed to deliver top-tier connectivity and unmatched value,” aimed at “hardworking Americans,” according to a statement from the Trump Organization.

The service will launch with the Plan 47, priced at $47.45, seemingly a nod to Donald Trump’s two terms as the 45th and 47th president of the United States.

The company’s website also teases the upcoming release of the T1, “a sleek and golden smartphone” designed and manufactured in the U.S., priced at $499 and running on the Android operating system.

“I’m extremely excited to enter this new digital space. (…) We are especially proud to offer free long-distance calling to our military service members and their families, because those serving overseas should always be able to stay connected to their loved ones back home,” said Donald Jr., the president’s eldest son.

He added that the product bundle will allow users to access telemedicine services on their phones for a flat monthly fee, as well as roadside assistance for their vehicles and unlimited texting to 100 countries worldwide.

The Trump Organization’s new venture marks a significant shift for the Trump sons, who had previously focused on real estate and cryptocurrency businesses.

“A lot of what we’ve done has centered around bringing technology to people with limited access — whether in crypto or other areas — but one industry where we saw underperformance was mobile,” Donald Jr. noted during the launch event.
