Erickson Invited to Elite 75 Future Head Coach Power Lunch

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men’s basketball team learned on this week that Associate Head Coach Brock Erickson has been invited to the Silver Waves Media Elite 75 Future Head Coach Power Lunch on April 3 at the Men’s Final Four in San Antonio.

The event, which will feature 75 coaches from around the country, is one of the most prestigious in college basketball that will include 50 athletic directors, 50 assistant athletic directors, and seven search firms who will interact with all the lunch participants.

Last year, 10 of the 50 coaches selected to attend became Division I head coaches.

Erickson is his first season with the Vaqueros after spending the previous three seasons as the head coach at Nichols College.

The Vaqueros will be back in action on Saturday when they visit the Lamar Cardinals at 6 p.m.
