We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new wheelchair basketball team at Edinburg Parks & Rec! This exciting initiative aims to bring competitive wheelchair basketball to our community, with a goal of joining the National Wheelchair Basketball Association by Fall/Winter 2025.

On August 4th, we invite you to join us at the Edinburg Parks & Rec gym to support the team as they try out specialized wheelchairs. This event marks the beginning of regular practice sessions and community play opportunities at our facility.

Our team, composed of passionate and talented athletes, will be training rigorously to compete at a high level. We believe that sports should be inclusive, and this new program is a step towards fostering a more accessible and diverse sports community.
